 What are our politicans doing for this cause

It is critical that we keep politics out of this issue. All Cranbrook wants is to have the Modern Community Centre it deserves. Please let us know how you can help to get our elected representatives to get behind this project, whatever their colours.

     Even though Helen Grant is not yet an MP. She has still been working behind the scenes for Cranbrook. This is what she has done so far;

She has had two meetings with Roy Bullock about this specific matter and seeks to have a third. She has written a 'heavy' letter to the press openly criticising Roy Bullock for snubbing the people of Cranbrook, which as you know was published in high visibility pages and street press hoardings in Cranbrook both within the KM and the Courier simultaneously.
She attended the Parish Council Meeting at Vestry Hall late last year and the public meeting at Angley School earlier this year to show support for the cause. She also attended the demonstration at Tunbridge Wells Town Hall and sat in the Mayor's seat throughout the meeting, openly showing allegiance to the people of Cranbrook. At that event she also gave a live interview to Meridian TV in support of the cause. She has extensively publicised the problem in her own campaign newspapers, e-bulletins, web-site and press releases. In addition she has had numerous meetings with others, both within Cranbrook and beyond, including Ann Widdecombe, in an effort to find a resolution to this very important issue.

     I have a lot of time for Miss Grant. I feel she will help our community better than anyone else. I hope I live long enough to see her open the new centre. Keep up the good work. MS

     Good words that make sense when Nick Clegg yesterday stated that all parties at central Government were talking about the need for them and County/local Borough council's to devolve the decision making process to local communities

     Do nt know about Ms Grant working hard be hind the scenes ,what interests me is just where is Ms Widdicombe why is she doing nothing for us ,she is still picking up her monsterous pay every month,she is the one who should be heading our fight.
Perhapes her secondary employment commititments are more important and lucrative!
